Structured Trade Associate II

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end execution of structured trade transactions to meet delivery commitments
• Partner with product, technology, and middle office teams to triage, escalate, and resolve issues
• Coach and performance-manage a cross-functional delivery team for night operations
• Monitor system health and coordinate incident response and root-cause analysis
• Run structured handoffs to day teams and global partners to ensure continuity
• Enforce controls, audit readiness, and documentation standards
• Identify recurring pain points and improve monitoring, runbooks, and shift processes
• Automate manual steps to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• 10 years of experience in trade operations and risk-related areas
• Extensive knowledge of trade products (payables/receivables loans, payments, standby letters of credit, documentary collections)
• Expert knowledge of US regulatory requirements (BSA, AML, OFAC, anti-boycott, export controls)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to operate in a complex, high-pressure, highly regulated environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Certificate for Documentary Credit Specialists certification
• Experience in trade product digitization or automation initiatives
