Structured Products Operations/Middle Office Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive front-to-back operational support for OTC Derivatives and Structured Notes business.
• Manage daily BAU activities including trade position reconciliation, cash flow management, and trade lifecycle management.
• Ensure accurate processing of corporate actions, dividends, trade confirmations, and client statements.
• Handle margin calls, settlements, and ensure regulatory reporting compliance (MiFID, EMIR, and Dodd-Frank).
• Act as a point of escalation for the operations team, supervising and motivating junior members.
• Contribute to the establishment of new controls and the automation of existing reconciliation tools and processes.
• Partner closely with finance, treasury, risk, audit, and compliance departments to ensure adherence to the operational risk framework.
• Maintain detailed operating procedures and train new joiners to ensure business continuity.

Requirements

• 7 to 10 years of experience in a middle office or trade management role focused on Equity/OTC derivatives or Structured Note issuance.
• Comprehensive understanding of structured products, including underlying Futures and Options.
• Proficiency in the MS Office suite.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a meticulous eye for detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SQL, Alteryx, or Python is highly desirable.
• Experience with Sophis is a plus.
