Structured FX & Rates Operations

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end operational support to the Structured FX & Rates desk, managing post-trade lifecycle events for FX derivatives and interest rate products.
• Maintain a strong control environment by monitoring risk, exposure, collateral, and cash movements.
• Ensure the integrity and completeness of trade data, positions, and valuations within front-to-back systems.
• Oversee client margining and collateral processes, ensuring all obligations are met and exposures are monitored.
• Execute settlement and payment activities efficiently in coordination with Treasury and external counterparties.
• Act as a key point of contact for Front Office, Risk, Finance, and Technology teams.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes, workflows, and documentation.
• Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements, including FCA standards and internal risk frameworks.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of FX derivatives (first, second, and third generation) and structured rates products.
• Proven experience in a middle office or operations function supporting OTC FX and interest rate products.
• Clear understanding of front-to-back trade flows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous eye for detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, busy environment.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
