Structured Cabling Specialist

Responsibilities

• Analyze and develop structured cabling architectures aligned with ISO/ANSI/TIA/NMX standards
• Design cabling solutions for data centers, enterprise networks, and industrial infrastructure
• Resolve technical incidents related to structured cabling and propose corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with client internal standards in design, installation, and documentation
• Perform capacity analysis and growth projection for physical infrastructure
• Coordinate activities with providers, internal teams, and technical areas
• Document solutions, surveys, blueprints, and technical evidence clearly
• Prepare and present technical progress reports and activity status

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in design, implementation, and support of structured cabling
• Proven experience with ISO/ANSI/TIA/NMX regulations
• Solid knowledge of wired network architectures (Switching and Routing)
• Familiarity with radio frequency and wireless networks
• Knowledge of IP addressing, subnetting, and segmentation
• Experience designing cabling architecture for data centers and industrial networks
• Proficiency in documentation and design tools such as AutoCAD or Visio
• Experience with certification tools like Fluke is desirable
• Project management methodology knowledge
