Structure & Cabin System Engineer

Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery and performance of Structure & Cabin System activities for Airbus Flight Hour Services (FHS)
• Maintain fleet operational reliability in compliance with EASA, NAA, and Airbus Technical Standards
• Provide engineering technical follow-up and defect/delay analysis in collaboration with global headquarters
• Manage technical interfaces with customer-facing teams and coordinate repair solutions for structural damages
• Perform structural assessments, repairs, and modifications, including managing composite parts and fastener requests
• Conduct reliability analysis on cabin systems and structural components to identify root causes and failure trends
• Manage technical publications, including Airworthiness Directives (AD), Service Bulletins (SB), and embodiment strategies
• Monitor aircraft Weight and Balance (W&B) changes resulting from cabin modifications
• Maintain structural damage databases and manage cabin layout configurations (LOPA/EED)

Requirements

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering or an equivalent field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Airline or MRO environments, specifically in Technical Services
• Strong knowledge of Continued Airworthiness Management
• Specialized training in Structural Damage Assessment & Repair, including composite parts coverage
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and strict deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

• License or Type training on commercial transport category aircraft, specifically Airbus products (A320/A350)
