Structural Support & Engineering Administrator Internship

Responsibilities

• Support structural activities by measuring, cutting, and shaping construction materials according to blueprints
• Prepare job sites by arranging tools, erecting temporary structures, and ensuring material readiness
• Assist with repairs, painting, and the relocation of walls and furnishings
• Secure structural components using various fastening methods and maintain tools and equipment
• Manage engineering data in spreadsheets and format data for reporting and presentations
• Assist in the development and maintenance of facility drawings using Microsoft tools and CAD software
• Research technical documentation and products to prepare recommendations
• Collaborate with engineers on planning, scheduling, cost estimating, and system testing

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of construction practices, tools, or engineering concepts
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Ability to work in both hands-on field environments and office/technical settings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to CAD software
