Structural Supervising Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assure bridge designs comply with Federal, State, and local agency requirements and AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications
• Deliver structural designs for single and multiple span bridges, including reinforced, pre-stressed, precast concrete, and steel structures
• Provide structural specifications, estimating, quantity calculations, technical reports, and detailed engineering analyses
• Prepare drawings, specifications, and construction documents suitable for procurement and construction
• Provide technical guidance to CAD Designers, Drafters, and lower-level Engineers
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and interns to foster a collaborative work environment
• Provide professional engineer seal and signature as appropriate to ensure compliance with codes and regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of design, design-build, or alternative project delivery experience on bridge highway infrastructure
• Essential expertise in both steel and concrete bridge design
• Essential experience with bridge design for roadway systems
