Structural Repair Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage cross-functional projects, including test plans, budgets, and schedules, while coordinating with external customers
• Perform hands-on fabrication and repair of composite materials and assembly of structural components
• Develop and improve processes and materials used in the fabrication and repair of composite aircraft structures
• Support production by addressing emergent issues and facilitating the transition of technology improvements into production
• Innovate and enhance technology to drive advancements across the company
• Present project results and technologies to internal teams and external groups
• Mentor team members and support employee development to foster a culture of continuous learning

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or higher
• 2+ years of experience with composite materials and processes

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience specifically with composite repair
• Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited course of study
• Demonstrated ability to innovate
• Hands-on composites and assembly skills
