Structural Manufacturing Technician

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing and assembly of structural components made from carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP)
• Production and processing of CFRP components for space applications
• Creation and adaptation of jigs, fixtures, and tooling
• Drilling composite materials and installing rivets and fasteners
• Performing structural bondings
• Inspection, control, and quality assurance of manufactured components
• Documentation of work steps according to specific regulations
• Participation in test and launch campaigns at various locations

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a manufacturing technician, aircraft mechanic, or comparable qualification
• Professional experience in structural assembly or manufacturing, ideally in aerospace
• In-depth knowledge in processing and handling CFRP
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and manufacturing documentation
• Strong manual skills and high precision
• Fluent English language skills
• Willingness to travel occasionally for campaign assignments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with metalworking
• Experience with 3D printing processes
• Experience in the creation and adaptation of jigs and tooling
