Structural Manufacturing Technician

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and assemble structural components and assemblies made of carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP) according to drawings and technical specifications
• Process CFRP composite components for aerospace applications
• Create and adapt fixtures and aids to support manufacturing processes
• Perform drilling, screw and rivet connections, and structural bonding
• Conduct quality assurance of manufactured CFRP components according to aerospace standards
• Document all work steps in accordance with specific regulations
• Collaborate closely with engineering and quality assurance departments
• Participate in multi-week test and launch campaigns domestically and abroad

Requirements

• Completed training as a manufacturing technician, aircraft mechanic, or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in structural assembly or manufacturing, ideally in aerospace
• Profound knowledge in the processing of CFRP; experience in metalworking is an advantage
• Experience with 3D printing processes is desirable
• Ability to read and work with technical drawings and manufacturing documentation
• High level of precision, cleanliness, and quality awareness
• Willingness to travel occasionally for domestic and international assignments
