About the role
Responsibilities
- Manufacture and assemble structural components and assemblies made of carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP) according to drawings and technical specifications
- Process CFRP composite components for aerospace applications
- Create and adapt fixtures and aids to support manufacturing processes
- Perform drilling, screw and rivet connections, and structural bonding
- Conduct quality assurance of manufactured CFRP components according to aerospace standards
- Document all work steps in accordance with specific regulations
- Collaborate closely with engineering and quality assurance departments
- Participate in multi-week test and launch campaigns domestically and abroad
Requirements
- Completed training as a manufacturing technician, aircraft mechanic, or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in structural assembly or manufacturing, ideally in aerospace
- Profound knowledge in the processing of CFRP; experience in metalworking is an advantage
- Experience with 3D printing processes is desirable
- Ability to read and work with technical drawings and manufacturing documentation
- High level of precision, cleanliness, and quality awareness
- Willingness to travel occasionally for domestic and international assignments
