Structural Inspector

Responsibilities

• Read and understand contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications, and health and safety measures
• Ensure contractor compliance with contract standards through observation, measurements, and testing
• Maintain daily records of contractor manpower and equipment resources
• Undertake site supervision and inspections as instructed by the Senior Site Engineer
• Document contractor activities, including personnel, equipment, work locations, and methods used
• Implement and apply all site quality control measures and procedures
• Monitor construction work for compliance with quality standards, performance expectations, and applicable codes
• Oversee the health and safety of construction works and report any violations
• Implement and coordinate QHSE procedures in the workplace in compliance with local regulatory guidelines

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
• 5-7 years of experience in construction supervision within a consultancy environment
• Strong knowledge of contract documents and technical specifications
• Proficiency in site inspection, measurement, and surveying checks
• Deep understanding of QHSE policies and regulatory compliance
