Structural Field Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Provide field support and supervise subcontractor operations on-site
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate work groups to ensure project milestones are met
• Assist in reviewing engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents
• Perform material and quantity takeoffs and conduct quantity calculations
• Assist in field surveying, work layout support, and compilation of as-built data
• Participate in jobsite safety reviews, toolbox meetings, and safety training
• Support project management with contract administration, reporting, and change orders
• Assist in the preparation of work plans, work packages, and purchase orders

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of construction field experience with a specific focus on structural works
• Proven experience in engineering environments and leading engineers
• Undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read, analyze, and identify discrepancies in engineering plans and specifications
• Ability to travel and relocate to various project locations across Canada as needed
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in diverse climates and access all points of a construction site
