Structural Estimator

Responsibilities

• Review RFPs to determine scope of work and estimate requirements
• Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings, specifications, and related documentation
• Develop estimates to support proposal creation and complex bid submittal documents
• Determine labor, material, equipment, and subcontract costs for self-performed construction
• Analyze crew structures for composite rate development across various labor markets
• Utilize InEight Estimating software to support project workflows
• Align bid packages to proposal requirements and evaluate subcontractor/vendor quotes
• Assist the Lead Estimator in identifying risks and performing cost analysis
• Participate in estimate review processes and assist with customer presentations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Technology (or equivalent extensive work experience)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy industrial construction ($50M+)
• Specialized experience with concrete or structural steel, including quantity development
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and ability to develop complex project documentation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting technical information to stakeholders
