Structural Engineering Project Manager

Lumos & Associates is expanding its presence in Sacramento, California, seeking entrepreneurial professionals to help establish and grow our footprint in this new market.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in the development of new business and promote repeat and referral business
• Coordinate, oversee, and direct the project design team during project execution
• Develop, implement, and maintain project schedules and budgets
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and delegation of responsibility to staff
• Perform technical review (QA/QC) of projects
• Serve as the primary contact for clients
• Prepare and review project proposals, qualification statements, and promotional materials

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum of seven years of progressive experience in structural engineering consulting or project management
• Registered Professional Civil Engineer in California (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
• Structural Engineer (S.E.) license preferred
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Experience managing and developing staff
• Valid driver’s license with 3 or less demerit points
