About the role
Responsibilities
- Discover the role of a wood structure engineer within a design office
- Apply dimensioning basics to wood structures using finite element software and drafting calculation notes
- Understand the integration of wood in global projects, including interfaces with concrete, metal, and foundations
- Participate in all project development phases from preliminary design to execution under supervision
- Contribute to the creation of graphic documents such as plans and technical details
- Assist in cost estimation and tendering for wood or metal projects
Requirements
- Currently a Master's level student in Civil Engineering
- Strong interest in building structures
- Ability to provide an internship agreement from your university or school
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Organized and rigorous approach
- Perfect mastery of French (written and spoken)
- Knowledge of English and/or German is an asset
