About the role
Responsibilities
- Help grow the structural engineering group in the Birmingham market and expand local presence
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers and BIM modelers
- Strengthen and expand client relationships to secure new work
- Provide technical and project leadership across various structural systems and materials
- Shape office culture, team processes, and long-term strategy
Requirements
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering
- 8+ years of progressive structural engineering experience
- 3+ years of experience leading teams of three or more engineers
- Experience with complex project leadership and direct client interaction
Preferred Qualifications
- Structural Engineer (SE) license
- Master's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience in client development and business development
