Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Undertake a variety of projects including bridges, tunnels, rail, and miscellaneous steel and concrete structures
• Coordinate efforts between disciplines and work closely with Project Team Leads or Project Managers
• Utilize structural analysis programs and 3D modelling tools within a Digital Engineering Framework
• Assist in the preparation of specifications, reports, and proposals under supervision
• Perform cross-discipline reviews, constructability checks, and clash detection reviews
• Review the work of drafters and other support staff
• Comply with all role-specific Safety, Health, Environment, & Quality (SHEQ) obligations and company ethics

Requirements

• Licensed Civil Engineer
• 4-7 years of relevant work experience in structural design
• Experience designing bridges, ground support, tunnel linings, or retaining walls
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as MIDAS Civil, STAAD, ASBD, SPACE GASS, or similar
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microstation, Revit, Projectwise, or Bluebeam Revu
• Knowledge of Australian Standards, local authority standards, or other international design standards
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working on Australian-based projects
