Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate calculations and static/dynamic analyses under the supervision of senior engineers
• Design buildings, foundations, equipment platforms, pipe racks, and miscellaneous steel/concrete structures
• Prepare quantities, cost estimates, and technical specification documents
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry codes, and Kiewit Nuclear Solutions Quality Assurance
• Support FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, and construction activities
• Interface with designers and review drawings prior to sealing

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
• EIT status (Passing the PE exam is considered an asset)
• 1-4 years of structural engineering design experience
• Proficiency in SAP2000 or STAAD Pro
• Familiarity with North American design codes
• Ability to travel as needed (less than 25%)

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
