Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate structural calculations and analyze data using scientific principles under senior supervision
• Design buildings, foundations, equipment platforms, pipe racks, and miscellaneous steel or concrete structures
• Utilize various structural engineering software programs to analyze complex structures
• Prepare quantities, cost estimates, and supporting documentation for projects
• Conduct quality checks of designs within a team environment to ensure accuracy and detail
• Apply relevant codes and standards to all engineering assignments
• Collaborate with project teams to meet schedule deadlines and client expectations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in the refining and petrochemical industry
• Engineering in Training (EIT) certificate or Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Proficiency in engineering software such as Staad Pro, SAP2000, SAFE, spMats, or Mathcad
• Working knowledge of IBC, ACI, and AISC codes
• Ability to travel up to 20%
