Structural Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of structural systems to meet load and serviceability requirements
• Evaluate structural deficiencies and provide rational solutions
• Collaborate with REVIT technicians to develop structural plans and details
• Edit structural specifications
• Perform construction phase services including reviewing shop drawings, submittals, and responding to RFIs
• Conduct site visits and write observation/field reports

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or architectural engineering
• Professional Engineering (PE) licensure in a U.S. state
• 5+ years of industry experience in structural design of building projects
• Experience with assessments and design modifications to existing buildings
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and working knowledge of Revit
• Ability to travel up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in civil or structural engineering (MSCE)
• Experience with RISA and Revit
