About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and calculations for design development and hoisting/rigging tools
- Interpret and implement DOE Natural Phenomena Hazard codes and nuclear facility design standards
- Provide project management support and field technical support for fabrication and installation
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with 10+ years of experience in DOE nuclear facilities or commercial nuclear plants
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Proficiency in AISC, ACI, AWS, ASCE, and ANSI codes for nuclear facility design
Preferred Qualifications
- M.S. degree
- Experience with STAAD.Pro finite element analysis
- Experience with dynamic response spectra analyses
