Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform structural strength, stiffness, and fatigue analyses of missile and launcher components using FEA and analytical methods
• Prepare analysis reports and strength documentation to support verification, qualification, and safety activities
• Work with multidisciplinary engineering teams to improve designs and evaluate trade-offs
• Analyse test results and structural failures to validate simulations and support design improvements
• Maintain clear and traceable records of structural analyses, engineering assumptions, and requirements

Requirements

• Experience in structural analysis, fatigue calculations, and mechanical design of metallic and composite structures
• Proficiency with FEA and 3D CAD software (e.g., ANSYS, Nastran, SolidWorks)
• Strong theoretical understanding of structural mechanics
• Willingness to undergo a background check for security clearance
• Willingness to relocate to Tallinn

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace, UAV, or space applications
• Familiarity with defence industry standards such as MIL-STD or STANAG
