Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop structural concepts and designs in accordance with applicable codes and standards
• Perform technical and feasibility studies for proposed projects
• Conduct detailed structural calculations, load analysis, and modeling
• Prepare and review detailed structural designs using REVIT STRUCTURE and AutoCAD
• Create Bills of Quantities (BOQs), job specifications, and material schedules
• Coordinate structural designs with architectural, MEP, and other discipline teams
• Provide technical support and clarification during construction phases
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 3+ years of professional structural design experience
• Advanced proficiency in REVIT STRUCTURE, AutoCAD, and structural calculation software
• Demonstrated expertise in steel structural design and analysis
• Practical knowledge of construction methods and structural systems
• Strong understanding of structural codes and regulatory compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineering (PE) certification or equivalent
• Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM)
• Familiarity with UK building regulations and standards
• Experience in sustainable structural design
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management standards
