Responsibilities

• Perform structural design of project seafastenings for all project related deck equipment
• Mentor and train graduate level structural engineers
• Review technical project deliverables for accuracy and completeness
• Manage interface with subcontractors, senior engineers, and drafting teams
• Perform specialized design and analysis for IMR, subsea construction, and decommissioning
• Evaluate DOF asset capabilities against client requirements
• Support business development and tendering activities
• Ensure engineering deliverables reflect operational aspects for offshore implementation

Requirements

• 3-5 years of marine operations project planning and execution experience
• Experience in structural design including vessel deck grillage and seafastenings
• Experience planning and supervising marine crane lifts (1 to 250 tons)
• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Mechanical, Naval Architecture, Ocean, or Structural Engineering
• Professional engineering license (Required)
• Willingness to travel to vessel mobilization sites and lead offshore projects onboard vessels
• Proficiency in specialized software such as Ansys, Inventor, or Orcaflex
• In-depth knowledge of DNV lifting and underwater deployment/recovery codes
• Ability to complete fit-for-duty physical and offshore training
