Responsibilities

• Coordinate with senior structural engineers to ensure correct project design implementation
• Prepare and review structural engineering studies, design drawings, calculations, and specifications
• Resolve specialty-related structural engineering issues using accepted principles, codes, and standards
• Analyze problems and conduct investigations and analysis
• Participate in the development of new structural engineering methods
• Provide expert advice on design processes or construction methods
• Approve significant changes in specifications, plans, work techniques, and materials
• Determine and schedule work priorities and prepare engineering proposals/estimates
• Ensure quality plans are implemented and promote a safety culture

Requirements

• BS in Engineering
• Registered as a professional engineer
• 10 years of significant experience in structural engineering
• Experience in oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure industries
• Proven track record on large to mega projects
• Thorough knowledge of engineering practices, economic principles, and international codes
