Structural Drawing Checker

Responsibilities

• Review and verify pipe support fabrication drawings to ensure alignment with project specifications, industry codes, and client requirements
• Conduct thorough quality checks of detailed fabrication drawings, including dimensional accuracy, material specifications, and weld details
• Ensure compliance with relevant project-specific standards and guidelines
• Coordinate with pipe support detailers, piping designers, and engineers to resolve discrepancies and ensure clarity in final drawings
• Approve drawings for release to fabrication and construction while maintaining strict documentation and revision control
• Provide feedback and recommendations for improving drawing accuracy, clarity, and quality assurance processes

Requirements

• Degree in engineering technology or a related field
• 3-4 years of experience in structural or pipe support detailing and checking
• Proven experience working within the oil & gas or petrochemical industries
• Strong analytical skills for identifying technical discrepancies
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Navisworks, or similar design tools
