Structural Draftsman

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed structural Revit models and generate shop drawings including plans, sections, and elevations
• Work with BIM, Autodesk ACC, and model collaboration
• Collaborate with structural engineers and architects to develop accurate models and drawings
• Revise construction documents based on engineer feedback and project updates
• Maintain an organized filing system for drawings and project documentation
• Ensure timely completion of drafting assignments according to project schedules
• Utilize Revit and CAD software for rapid drafting and design iteration

Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related technical field
• Minimum 7 years of experience in structural drafting within construction or engineering consultancy
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Knowledge of Revit or other 3D software
• Strong knowledge of structural design principles, building codes, and construction methods
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and specifications
• Strong organizational and communication skills
