Structural Draftsman

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed structural Revit models and generate shop drawings, including plans, sections, and elevations
• Collaborate closely with structural engineers and architects to develop accurate models and drawings
• Revise construction documents based on engineer feedback and project updates
• Utilize Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM technologies for rapid drafting and design iteration
• Manage documentation and maintain an organized filing system for drawings to ensure easy retrieval and compliance
• Ensure timely completion of drafting assignments according to project schedules and deadlines
• Work within BIM and Autodesk ACC environments for effective model collaboration

Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related technical field
• Minimum 7 years of experience in structural drafting within the construction or engineering consultancy sectors
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and strong experience with Revit and BIM workflows
• Knowledge of Autodesk ACC and model collaboration processes
• Strong understanding of structural design principles, building codes, and construction methods
• Ability to read and interpret complex structural drawings and specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
