Structural Designer

Responsibilities

• Work with engineering and project teams to develop 3D models for temporary structures supporting construction activities
• Use 3D software platforms to produce design documents for estimating support, construction documents, and material procurement
• Maintain the status of assigned tasks on the team schedule
• Follow and assist in the improvement of company standards

Requirements

• Associate degree in Computer Aided Design, Engineering Technology, or a similar program
• Proficiency in Revit modeling, including sheet production and family creation
• Knowledge of structural connections for steel and concrete structures
• Ability to think clearly in 3D concepts and collaborate with Engineering and Construction teams
• Basic skills in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to recognize conflicts and discrepancies

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in 3D-based construction document production
• Additional proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or Navisworks
• General knowledge of engineering principles and materials for structural work
