Structural Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Optimize structural designs based on fluid and heat dissipation simulations
• Manage product lifecycle from evaluation to mass production, including material selection
• Deliver 3D/2D drawings and product BOM for prototypes and mass production
• Conduct CAE simulation analysis for key structural components
• Monitor on-site production and resolve assembly or reliability issues
• Perform DFMEA and dimensional tolerance analysis to ensure reliability
• Conduct post-sale failure analysis and provide improvement solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Design or a related field
• Proficiency in design software such as PROE, CREO, UG, or CAD
• Experience with structural simulation software like Abaqus or Ansys
• Knowledge of machining, sheet metal, and plastic part processes
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5 years of product design experience
• Familiarity with data center or server product structural design
• Experience with air and liquid cooling systems (heat exchangers, cold plates, pumps, fans)
