About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform structural calculations including static, fatigue, and damage tolerance
- Produce justification dossiers required for certification
- Identify and apply regulatory requirements from CS/FAR 23, 25, and PART 21
- Determine applicable CS25 paragraphs for structural analyses
- Participate in defining certification strategies and plans
- Identify technical points requiring EASA validation or arbitration
- Contribute to the drafting of compliance and justification documents
- Participate in technical exchanges with authorities (e.g., Panel 3 – structures)
- Collaborate with design teams to ensure technical solution compliance
Requirements
- Engineering degree (Bac+5) in mechanics, aeronautics, or structures
- Proven experience in aeronautical structural calculation in a certified environment
- Knowledge of CS/FAR 23 and 25 regulations
- General knowledge of PART 21
- Understanding of EASA certification processes and compliance documents
- Proficiency in FEM calculation tools (Nastran, Abaqus, Ansys, etc.)
- Good level of technical English
