Structural Calculation and Certification Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform static, fatigue, and damage tolerance analyses to evaluate mechanical installations and fuselage structures
• Post-process finite element method results to extract technical conclusions
• Develop or adapt calculation files to automate and optimize analyses
• Write justification reports detailing analyses and results
• Prepare certification dossiers in collaboration with technical teams and authorities
• Validate technical feasibility of installations with design and integration teams
• Propose improvements or alternative solutions in case of non-compliance
• Participate in technical reviews to present results and recommendations

Requirements

• Engineering degree (Bac+5) in mechanics
• Significant experience in structural calculations, ideally in the aeronautical sector
• Knowledge of finite element analysis methods (e.g., NASTRAN, FEMAP)
• Mastery of calculation and simulation tools
• Knowledge of aeronautical standards (EASA, FAA) and certification processes
• Rigor and precision in calculations and report writing
• Analytical and synthesis skills
• Ability to work in a team and communicate clearly
