Structural Calculation AI Engineer Intern

Responsibilities

• Integrate language models into controlled numerical simulation processes within the water department
• Decompose civil engineering calculation cases into clearly defined Finite Element (FE) modeling steps
• Identify and restrict modifiable parameters to reduce process uncertainty
• Optimize the communication loop between AI and ANSYS, from initial instruction to calculation feedback
• Structure reproducible and highly constrained simulation processes to ensure traceability and control
• Utilize ANSYS outputs to allow AI to adjust processes without exhibiting random behavior

Requirements

• Currently a Civil Engineering student at an engineering school
• Solid foundational skills in structural mechanics and structural calculation
• Proficiency or strong understanding of Ansys APDL and other FEA software with programming languages
• Sufficient Python knowledge to supervise code generated by AI
• Proficiency in BIM and Microsoft Office Suite (including Project)
• Strong proficiency in both English and French
