Structural BIM Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural BIM team in managing project data sets, workflows, and project setup.
• Develop and maintain BIM workflows, templates, libraries, and best practices to improve efficiency.
• Manage interdisciplinary coordination with Architectural, MEP, Facade, and Landscape teams to resolve clashes.
• Create federated models and lead BIM coordination meetings to identify and track design conflicts.
• Ensure construction documents are accurate based on discipline BIM modeling.
• Adhere to BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and support the implementation of ISO 19650 standards.
• Monitor project progress, resource allocation, and model development to ensure timely delivery.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to BIM Modelers and Technicians.
• Coordinate BIM deliverables for authority submissions and ensure compliance with local protocols.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience in BIM coordination or a similar role.
• Diploma or Degree in Engineering.
• Expert proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
• Expert proficiency in Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and BIM Collaborate Pro.
• Strong understanding of reinforced concrete and steel structure modeling practices.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 standards and Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows.
• Proven experience working on GCC projects and familiarity with regional practices.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
