Structural Analyst

Responsibilities

• Build and analyze FE Models of Node™-based vehicle structures for aerospace or automotive use cases
• Apply nonlinear geometry, nonlinear material, implicit, and explicit FE/CAE methodologies
• Present technical analysis summaries and reports to engineering teams
• Create and refine technical solutions for aerospace structures to support customer programs
• Collaborate cross-functionally to design structures optimized for mass, production, and assembly
• Support prototype and production build activities and implement cost reductions

Requirements

• Ability to lawfully access information subject to US export controls
• BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.2
• 0-2 years of experience in aerospace or automotive structural analysis
• Experience with Nastran, Optistruct, ABAQUS, or LS-Dyna
• Strong foundation in solid mechanics
• Understanding of linear/nonlinear behaviors of advanced materials (composites, adhesives, metals)

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of industry experience in non-linear, dynamic stiffness, and durability analyses
• Experience with material characterization and physical test correlation
• Structural optimization experience
• Proficiency with Altair Hypermesh or Beta CAE ANSA preprocessors
• Experience in fast-paced startup environments
