About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop, integrate, and document structural requirements to establish system design
  • Guide product design and verify structural integrity using analytical methods and finite element models
  • Coordinate with engineering groups to establish the product's environment
  • Develop test plans, support execution, and analyze results to validate system compliance
  • Define and document certification results for customers and regulatory agencies
  • Support in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements
  • Lead the development of analytical processes and tools to improve engineering efficiency (Level 4)

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Material Sciences)
  • 5+ years of related work experience (Level 3)
  • 9+ years of related work experience (Level 4)
  • Ability to work 100% onsite in Berkeley, MO

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in commercial aircraft stress and structural analysis
  • Experience with both metallic and composite structural analysis
  • Experience with Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Analysis
  • Familiarity with Boeing analysis tools such as Common Structures Workstation, IAS, CASTLE, CATIA V5, and ENOVIA
