Stroke Consultant

Responsibilities

• Lead the assessment and management of stroke patients
• Deliver emergency care and oversee inpatient and outpatient services
• Provide clinical leadership to develop stroke services
• Implement national initiatives to improve stroke care
• Participate in clinical governance, audit, and research
• Teach and train multidisciplinary professionals, stroke team members, and medical students

Requirements

• Registered with the General Medical Council (GMC)
• Must be on the Specialist Registrar
• Relevant NHS experience working as a Stroke Consultant
