About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform stress analysis for primary and secondary aircraft structures to ensure compliance with certification requirements for the A220 program
- Ensure technical scope meets client requirements, program needs, and manufacturing requirements
- Support technical decision-making related to primary structure stress analysis and fixed/mobile supports
- Prepare and ensure the conformity of key technical deliverables according to Airbus Atlantic and client standards
- Participate in the analysis and implementation of structural components
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in primary metallic structure stress analysis (skin, frames, stringers, etc.)
- Proficiency in NASTRAN and PATRAN for model usage and stress/effort extraction
- Experience with Catia for design consultation
- Proficiency in VBA programming
- Experience calculating sheet metal and machined parts
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English (technical) and French (team/social)
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of aeronautical calculation processes and methods (Airbus Atlantic, Bombardier, or Airbus Canada)
- Experience in project management
