Strength and Conditioning Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and supervise comprehensive strength and conditioning programs for NCAA Division III student-athletes.
• Enhance the performance, health, and safety of varsity athletes through evidence-based training.
• Collaborate with head coaches, athletic healthcare staff, and administration to ensure sport-specific programming.
• Prioritize injury prevention, competitive excellence, and the holistic wellness of student-athletes.
• Support the mission of NCAA Division III athletics by aligning training with departmental goals and educational priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Strength and Conditioning, Health Fitness, Physical Education, or a related field.
• Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS or SCCC) from a nationally recognized organization.
• Demonstrated experience teaching or coaching fitness, wellness, and strength and conditioning.
• Current certification in CPR, First Aid, and AED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Understanding of the role fitness and wellness play within an academic setting.
