About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform strength and fatigue calculations for structures
- Conduct FEM analyses (FEA) and interpret results
- Prepare technical reports
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and customers
Requirements
- Engineer or Master of Science degree in structural design, mechanical engineering, or a related field
- Understanding of material mechanics and structural dimensioning
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Fluency in Finnish and English
Preferred Qualifications
- 30 ECTS credits in structural engineering or steel structure design
- Experience with FEM tools such as ANSYS, Abaqus, or NX
- Knowledge of standards like Eurocodes or ASME
- Experience in industrial production plants or international project environments
