Street Lighting Operative/Attendant

Responsibilities

• Safe working in the vicinity of electricity and telephone overhead lines
• Signing, guarding, traffic management and NRSWA requirements
• Bulk lamp change and clean
• Fault investigation and repair
• Street lighting installation and maintenance

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience assisting in electrical construction activities
• Full, clean driving licence (minor points considered)
• Relevant authorisations to operate a MEWP

Preferred Qualifications

• ECS or HEA Card
• First Aid and Manual Handling certification
• Power Tools proficiency
• G39 Awareness
• Traffic Management 302.1
• Streetworks (Units 1, 2, 3)
• IPAF
• Level 2 NVQ in Street Lighting (HESA)
