Strategy Risk and Control Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic initiatives, governance frameworks, and operational execution within the Financial Crime Technology department.
• Translate high-level executive vision into operational execution through executive storytelling and program governance.
• Drive cross-functional programs focused on operational excellence, cost-efficiency, resilience, and risk & control enhancements.
• Manage IT Service risk by identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
• Oversee IT Services department performance, including the implementation of departmental goals, objectives, and efficiency standards.
• Manage relationships with IT Services stakeholders and ensure the quality of external third-party services.
• Monitor and maintain critical technology infrastructure to minimize disruption to operations.
• Ensure adherence to group SLAs and controls associated with incident, problem, and change management.

Requirements

• Experience in technology service management, specifically incident, problem, and change management.
• Proficiency using the ITIL framework and ServiceNow.
• Subject matter expertise in at least one of the following: project management, risk & control, strategy & transformation, or resilience.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to negotiate and influence cross-functional teams.
• Strong data-driven problem-solving skills and the ability to distill large datasets into actionable storylines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a "Run the Bank" (RTB) technology team.
