Strategy & Operations Manager - Courier & Logistics

Responsibilities

• Shape the performance and stability of the courier network by translating data insights into scalable operational strategies.
• Manage the courier lifecycle beyond onboarding to ensure strong engagement and sustainable participation.
• Identify emerging risks or opportunities within network dynamics and implement effective operational responses.
• Act as a hands-on operator, taking strategic initiatives from concept through to execution and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners in product, analytics, and operations to build practical playbooks and mechanisms.
• Maintain a healthy and responsive supply base that aligns with evolving business and customer needs.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience leading operational improvements or strategic initiatives in complex, fast-paced environments.
• Strong analytical capability with the ability to navigate ambiguity and structure complex problems.
• Proficiency in SQL and comfort working with large datasets to answer business questions.
• Proven stakeholder management skills with the ability to align cross-functional partners around shared goals.
• A strong bias for outcomes, focusing on delivering measurable impact and iterating based on evidence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in courier, logistics, or gig economy operations.
• Familiarity with experimentation, measurement design, and operational change management.
• Experience using automation tools (such as Zapier or basic scripts) to build systems for high-volume operations.
