Strategy Officer (Partnerships Officer)

Responsibilities

• Support the development and operationalization of the World Bank Group’s philanthropy strategy, including stakeholder mapping and priority engagement identification.
• Act as a key liaison between the Group Strategy Office and the Philanthropy Engagement team to ensure alignment of priorities and coordinated delivery.
• Contribute to the establishment and functioning of the philanthropy Hub, supporting governance, workflows, and cross-regional collaboration.
• Support engagement with external partners, including foundations and global philanthropic networks, to strengthen relationships and identify collaboration opportunities.
• Develop analytical materials to inform strategic decision-making, including trend analysis and partner intelligence.

Requirements

• Master's degree in business administration, international policy, economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in partnerships, strategy, international organizations, or development operations.
• Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement, partnerships, or external relations, preferably within a multilateral or humanitarian context.
• Strong analytical skills with experience preparing strategic briefs and synthesizing complex information.
• Proven ability to operate effectively in a multicultural and diverse global environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build collaborative relationships across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in French.
• Experience working across both headquarters and field settings.
