About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the development and operationalization of the World Bank Group’s philanthropy strategy, including stakeholder mapping and priority engagement identification.
- Act as a key liaison between the Group Strategy Office and the Philanthropy Engagement team to ensure alignment of priorities and coordinated delivery.
- Contribute to the establishment and functioning of the philanthropy Hub, supporting governance, workflows, and cross-regional collaboration.
- Support engagement with external partners, including foundations and global philanthropic networks, to strengthen relationships and identify collaboration opportunities.
- Develop analytical materials to inform strategic decision-making, including trend analysis and partner intelligence.
Requirements
- Master's degree in business administration, international policy, economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in partnerships, strategy, international organizations, or development operations.
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement, partnerships, or external relations, preferably within a multilateral or humanitarian context.
- Strong analytical skills with experience preparing strategic briefs and synthesizing complex information.
- Proven ability to operate effectively in a multicultural and diverse global environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build collaborative relationships across teams.

- Proficiency in French.
- Experience working across both headquarters and field settings.
