Responsibilities
- Conduct market analysis including segmentation, TAM/SAM/SOM, and competitive landscapes
- Design scalable business models, pricing strategies, and revenue streams
- Identify market opportunities and positioning for new businesses and products
- Engage early partners and potential customers to validate needs and co-develop concepts
- Support business development efforts by identifying and signing strategic partners
- Evaluate potential acquisition targets aligned to emerging opportunity spaces
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to influence product direction
- Develop early go-to-market approaches and strategic narratives
Requirements
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, business development, or venture design
- MBA or equivalent experience
- Expertise in market analysis, business modeling, pricing, and GTM strategy
- Experience validating early concepts directly with customers and partners
- Strong organizational and cross-functional management skills
- Excellent communication skills and executive presence
- Familiarity with consumer tech, hardware, or AI sectors
- Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area
Preferred Qualifications
- Success in signing or managing early partners and customers
- Ability to evaluate potential acquisition targets
- Background in product marketing and go-to-market strategy
- Experience in venture incubation or launching early-stage businesses
- Exposure to AI-enabled technologies or emerging hardware categories
- Experience in innovation labs or startup environments
