Strategist

Responsibilities

• Examine research to identify learning gaps and deduce implications for clients and brands
• Generate inventive insights and formulate creative briefs to direct strategic actions
• Initiate strategic recommendations to target identified pockets of opportunity
• Shepherd and nurture marketing, creative, and communications efforts
• Drive the interpretation of research into impactful presentations
• Collaborate with Copy and Art departments to ensure creative development aligns with strategy
• Contribute to new business pitches as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in sociology, anthropology, advertising, marketing, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in a strategy department specializing in insight generation
• Proven ability to provide case studies, creative briefs, and writing samples
• Experience with sophisticated research methods including segmentation, copy testing, and message testing
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to construct strong arguments
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the pharmaceutical or advertising industry
• Experience managing challenging strategic issues, such as brand relaunches
