Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers via online searches, industry exhibitions, and customs data
• Compile and maintain a structured supplier database including capabilities and certifications
• Support supplier pre-qualification by documenting production capacity and equipment
• Maintain accurate research records in internal systems and prepare industry reports
• Track supplier performance metrics such as lead time and responsiveness
• Collaborate with the sourcing team to prioritize research and assist in supplier onboarding

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field
• 3 to 6 years of experience in manufacturing supply chain or supplier development
• Experience in at least 1 to 2 manufacturing areas
• Strong research skills and ability to analyze market data
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic technical curiosity regarding CNC, die casting, and other manufacturing processes
