Strategic Sourcing Specialist, Compute

Responsibilities

• Support BOM planning, hardware requisitions, and procurement execution for GPU and CPU server deployments
• Serve as a key point of contact for global Compute suppliers including OEMs, ODMs, and component vendors
• Lead RFQ cycles, quote analysis, and supplier comparison
• Own end-to-end PO lifecycle, including creation, change orders, and invoice reconciliation in Coupa
• Drive supplier onboarding, NDA coordination, and vendor compliance
• Maintain accurate hardware tracking in NetBox/DCIM systems
• Partner with Deployment, Cloud Operations, Finance, Legal, and Logistics teams
• Provide rapid-response procurement support for critical data center deployments
• Prepare procurement status reports and supplier performance updates
• Identify and implement workflow improvements and automation opportunities

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or hardware deployment operations
• Strong working knowledge of compute server hardware (GPU/CPU servers and components)
• Hands-on experience with Coupa or a comparable ERP/procurement platform
• Experience with NetBox, ServiceNow, or similar DCIM/asset management tools
• Proven track record managing OEM, ODM, distributor, or VAR relationships
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for a globally distributed team
• Authorized to work in Ireland, or eligible for Crusoe-sponsored relocation and work authorization

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with HPE, Dell, Supermicro, or major ODMs like Quanta, Wiwynn, or Foxconn
• Experience supporting NVIDIA H100/H200/B200/GB200 GPU server programs
• Exposure to automation and scripting using Python, SQL, or Power Automate
• Experience in hyperscaler, cloud, or large-scale data center procurement environments
• Familiarity with international import/export and trade compliance
