Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations for vendor contracts including equipment, services, and consulting agreements
• Develop and execute data-driven procurement strategies to optimize spending
• Oversee end-to-end procure-to-pay and purchase order processes
• Implement effective inventory management systems for capital expenditures
• Establish and monitor procurement metrics such as cost savings and supplier performance
• Collaborate with finance to develop budgets, forecasts, and conduct financial analysis
• Manage expenses to ensure compliance with company policies and budget constraints

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in procurement, vendor negotiation, and capex management
• Proven track record in successful negotiations and cost savings
• In-depth knowledge of negotiating consulting agreements and statements of work
• Deep expertise in P2P and ERP systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in biotech, research, or manufacturing industries
• Familiarity with laboratory, greenhouse, or automation equipment
• Experience scaling procurement and expense management processes
• Relevant procurement certifications such as CPSM or CIPS
