Strategic Sourcing - Metals

Responsibilities

• Drive supplier relationships to deliver metrics of cost, quality, delivery, and localisation
• Negotiate prices, contracts, and onboard suppliers in tandem with new product development
• Drive sourcing projects and build process capabilities with partners across Fabrication, Stamping, Casting parts, Fasteners, and Adhesives
• Drive should costing for NPD projects
• Benchmark cost and quality to identify suppliers, process capabilities, or technologies that drive productivity
• Drive supplier engagements to further innovation and quality across products

Requirements

• 4 to 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing of metal components
• Structured problem-solving skills
• Detail orientation
• Data-driven decision making
• Customer-first attitude
